Wings :)

Shirt: Goodwill
Have you ever truly looked closely at yourself and realized what your strengths and weaknesses are? I think that it is important to find out what you like and what you don’t, but learning what your strengths and weaknesses are is equally important. Your strengths would be like you get good grades or you are really good at basketball or baseball. It’s easy to accept what we’re good at because we don’t have any work to do. Some of your weaknesses are going to be very hard to accept. Like if you have a learning disability, or a disease, or anything basically that sets you apart from anyone else, it can be so frustrating to accept that and roll with the punches, meaning you just take in whatever people say about you, good or bad. I am not going to tell that it is easy, I want to tell you that it takes time. But I promise with patience and time, you figure out the strengths and weaknesses of yourself and learn to accept them.

Edginess

Off the Shoulder tank: H&M

Necklace: Forever 21

My Top Knot Bun
Do you guys what I mean by edginess? This outfit to me screams edgy like Rihanna because she always wears something that is interesting and fresh. Off the shoulder for me is edgy.
I think that you should always remember to have fun in your life and strut your stuff if you feel like it. Wear ruffles if you feel like it. Cook if you love cooking. Do what you want but think through the decisions that you are not sure of because they will shape your reputation.
And remember fashion has no rules ;)( wink)

Back to School Blues

Shoes: Marshalls

Elephant Necklace:Pac Sun   Shirt: Forever 21
Lace Shorts: Forever 21

Going to back to school or back to work sucks right? It is the time that we all dread. Well 2 days ago it was my first day of school.  I was worried about old friends and new friends, but it all turned out fine. Try to be a floater and don’t have one group of friends; branch out and hang out with other people because that way you will have more friends in work or at school. J

Aye Aye Captain

Shorts: Forever 21
Lace Tank: Wet Seal
I love these shorts!! I feel so nautical! This summer was such a beautiful summer and I learned so much about myself and about people who are unfortunate. I also  learned about the Holocaust in a different way and I was more affected by the Museum of Tolerance. They made it seem like you were in the concentration camps that the Jews were in. I felt like I was going to die in a gas chamber like they did. I don’t want to gloom your day, so I will talk about something else.
Be Vulnerable with someone that you trust and they might give you wonderful, life-changing  advice. Trust me on this one! Vulnerability  makes friendships and relationships stronger.

Denim Picnic Girl

Dress: Target

Cheetah Flats: Thrifted

Bow belt: Urban Outfitters

Headband: Target
Babysitting is so much fun! I love seeing the smiling faces and the joy in their eyes. They see things from a whole different outlook on things and they are so cute with all the questions that they ask that we would never think of. They see life as let’s play and life is so simple and light, but once you get older life becomes a burden and things unfortunately start to get harder. But you need to remember to be vulnerable and that will actually make you stronger because then not only are you gaining trust from that person, but you are also getting advice of what to do in that situation.

Daisy Duke

Vest Thing: Macy’s
Daisy Duke Shorts: Target

Daisy Duke Shorts: Target

Hey Readers,
These outfits were things that I wore over the summer that I never got to posting.
This first outfit my mom called Daisy Duke because of the cutoffs. My main message for today is to totally be yourself.  I found out when I was in New Mexico that I love country music. I am kind of obsessed with it. And that is just who I am and how I am. Embrace who you are and don’t let anyone else tell you any different.
Try to enjoy your summer with the little moments that you have left.

Lace Polka

Lace Tank: Thrifted
Girl necklace: Forever21 (they have cool necklaces there) J

I haven’t really thought too much about what I want to be when I grow up….maybe a psychologist  or a fashion designer or a teacher…. I don’t know. Fashion designing would be really fun though. I hate sewing that’s the only thing…hahhahah so we’ll see. Make sure that you are happy with what your jobs now and if aren’t happy you should try to do what you want to as a job before it’s too late.

Remembering the 50s

Shirt: Thrifted

Skirt: Thrifted?

Bow Belt: Forever 21

Shoes: Target

Ths outfit reminds of the fifties, when bottled milks were delivered to your door and there were terrible 3D movies. I didn’t live in that era but it sounds like it was a pretty good life. Keep your precious memories alive, the ones that matter to you, the ones that are unforgettable; but forget the ones that make you embarrassed when you think about them, or you shudder, or you just don’t want to remember.
