Montague Vs. Capulet

Romeo and Juliet shirt: My grandma made it for me!
Military Jacket: Thifted
Tassel Necklace: Forever 21

When I tried on this shirt, I automatically thought of Romeo and Juliet. I asked my mom “Do I look too Montague vs. Capuletish?” She said “Yes you do.” I think the military jacket tames the Montague vs. Capulet affect.
Really try to think a legit present for that special someone or even family or friends. Think back to when they told you what they loved. Making them something actually means more to them or if it’s a lifelong friend then you should give them a picture frame of all the wonderful pictures of you guys. Write them a meaningful card. I promise homemade gifts or thoughtful gifts are always the best. Let the people who are close to you know how much they mean to you.

Happy Holidays!

Ever feel creative? Cut a shirt up. There are so many different ways.

Slipper Boots:Rite Aid (believe it or not)
They're cute and cozy!
Remember to live in the moment. Just drink it in and try not to worry about the future too much. I tend to make this mistake a lot. This moment won't last forever so just enjoy it and live it up and stop your worrying! Have a wonderful weekend!

Postage Stamps

Shirt: H&M
Postage Stamp Skirt: Trifted
Necklace: Pac Sun

Letters may not be cool anymore, but they can be very heartfelt and meaningful. Send a letter to someone that needs encouragement and you might be surprised what power they have.  Written words that people can keep are a treasure for people to have. There is less meaning to texts. So write a letter.

Honoring Breast Cancer

Sweater: Target
Necklace: Kohls (as they say “expect great things”)

October is the Breast Cancer Awareness month and in honor of that, our school wore pink and they passed out pink ribbons. Breast Cancer is a tragedy and even guys can get it! I wore pink and so many are doing the same. Why don’t you take the plunge to support Breast Cancer? I mean why not?

Naturally Gorgeous

Leather Shorts: H & M
Shirt: Target
Shoes: Thrifted (Can you believe it?)

I want to challenge you guys to wear a little less makeup for a day . I have been thinking a lot about the saying “less is more”, and I think it’s true. Not that you don’t look beautiful when you have more makeup on; it’s just that when you look natural you look so naturally beautiful and guys actually like that! Now I understand that some may have acne, and that you want to cover it up with foundation, but just wear foundation and that’s it. No eye makeup. Or you could just wear eyeliner or just eye shadow or just lip gloss/lipstick.  I understand why you want to hide behind the makeup, but take a risk! I mean why not?

Hey guys! I want to challenge you today to encourage someone. This person may be secretly suffering inside and your words of encouragement could change their life. You don’t even have to say much, just that you care and what you like about them. This will let them know that you are looking at the good side of them and they will really appreciate that. <3

Boho Chic

Necklace: Pac Sun ,Bohemian Crop Top: Forever 21, Jeggings: Forever 21

Wearing this around school definitely took confidence.  As I getting ready in the morning, I realized that I have that confidence. Wear stuff as if you are on runway. People will probably love your style. Be confident in what you wear because that is a part of what makes you…you! One last thing: never forget to take fashion risks. You might just concoct a super cute outfit that everyone is looking at you like where did you get that? I want it! Which I think is good because you are getting attention and keeping everyone guessing.  J

Kim Kardishian wearing high-waisted pants

1)   Missoni – from Target. It sold in an hour! You can still get it there if anyone returned anything.

2)   Animal Print- just in general this is a MUST! It is the new neutral or supposed to be anyway.

3)   Fringe Tops-Are so cute and they are bohemian which is anything that looks gypsy

4)   Letterman jackets- Do you remember or have you seen the days when these were really popular in the 50s? Well they’re back in. You can get them at Forever 21for a good price.

5)   High-waisted shorts with buttons- These give a major fashion statement

6)   High -waisted Pants- Like the high-waisted shorts, these make a major fashion statement.

The Housewife I Never Was

Dress: Goodwill

This is what they looked like
This dress reminds of housewives. The first thing that I think of when I think of housewives is the women who cooked dinner and dessert for their husbands, which would be ready when they came home from work. These women would only be in the house all day and were not allowed to work.  They even had certain ways to wear their hair. It would be either a French twist or a sausage roll and they wore no earrings. Their dresses were always cotton and were past the knees. No housewife would be caught dead with a dress above the knees. The dresses they wore were button –up and they wore them every day with Cuban heels. I found this interesting. Of course a lot has changed since then, but sometimes it’s interesting to revisit the past; especially in fashion.
